Let's see. I will never forget the first time I noticed the shopping list on your fridge and I said what is this? and Kari said "Oh, that is Trav's grocery list." LOL I remember the year we all went camping up at Lake Viva Naughten. He made me my first bloody mary and man was it good. He put a lot of green olives. Delish! I have never had another that was quite as good. When I think of Trav I just think of him as laid back and just easy to talk too. We Love you!!
About 5 or 6 years ago Dawn's family, Karianne family, and my family all went to see a Rockies baseball game in Denver. We all were getting settled in our room and for some reason Chuck called Karianne and Travis room to talk to Travis. Chuck said," is Travis there, DJ says," No we went down to get some medicine. Chuck says okay... Well a few minutes later I call and I say, "Trav are you sick, he said No I went down to get a bloody mary" eeheeh eeheehh, I swear I will never forget that. The bloody Mary was his Medicine. We had such a wonderful time on that trip.. I wish now we would have taken more.
I'll start with the 1st story I heard about Trav after I met him. Travis & Val were still working together and Val came home and said Trav was uneasy at work that day because the night before Ashtin had put on a nightgown for pj's. He had never seen her in a nightgown so when she walked into Trav's room, he told her to turn right around and go put her footy pj's on. He wasn't ready to have his baby girl grow up yet and I still think that's one of the cutest stories I've ever heard.
I also remember the Viva trip and Trav was so concerned about Emma on the drive. Emma was only 2 months old and even though him & Kari were in their own car, he kept making sure Emma was ok at every stop. Trav has been sweet and genuinely nice since I met him.
The other thing I remember is the 1st time you guys watched Tug for us. Trav & Tug became fast friends and even though Tug ate all of Travis' precious cookies when he wasn't looking, Trav still wanted Tug around & told Kari to call me & tell me that he missed the Tugs when we took him back home.
Trav always talks so cute to Barkley too and I love that he treats you like Gold Kar. He has always been so good to you and I love him for that. I know he still thinks Robbie was singing to him at Matchbox, but whatever, he knows Rob was looking straight at us Kar.
Every summer we would go with Travis to Lava Hot Springs but this one trip to Lava sticks out in my mind and we still laugh about it all the time.
Travis went with us and he took the two girls by himself in a awesome tent trailer that he purchsed so he could take his baby girls camping. He has always been the best Daddy ever.. Well after a long day at the pool and floating the river we had finaly put all the kids to bed in the camp trailers and the adults were all sitting around a camp fire having a few drinks and laughing and talking about old times. Well it was getting late and Travis decided to turn in first. He told Jayson, Russell and myself goodnight "Millers" that is what we called each other from another one of Trav's funny moments. Well Travis headed into his tent trailer and about ten minutes had gone by when all of a sudden the tent trailer tipped over on its side. The side that Trav's bed was on, well aparently the girls came rolling out the other side bed onto the trailer floor. Pretty soon the trailer door opened and Trav yelled out I guess I forgot to put down the DAMN JACKS.... and he was laughing hysterically!! We all burst into laughter and quickly went to assist and put the jacks down and tuck the two little ones back in bed.
Travis has always been the life of the party!! We knew he would always find a way to keep us laughing.
We hold all of our fun camping and hunting trips with Trav close to our hearts.
We Love You So Much "MILLER"

Hi, my husband and I have known travis since before high school and we just wanted to let him and you know that you are all in our prayers. We have many favorite memories of Trav but the one that always puts a smile on my face was the time we took Trav skiing for his first time. All the guys left me with Trav on the "bunny " hills but Trav was certian he was better then the bunny hills so we went to the top. Trav's idea of skiing was to go straight down the hill and when he got going to fast he would just fall down, and not gracefully I might add. By the end of the night he was soaking wet and had to have bruises over his entire body. Thank heavens for Beer. We laughed all night and had a ball. Some of our other memories are when we got to high school rodeo and when I got to go to the ropings and sit with Linda and watch Travis, Brett and Keith rope and all the times we spent just hanging out with the whole gang.
We have not seen Trav in a long time but please let him know that we are thinking about him all the time. And although I have never met you, you are amazing for all that you do for him and your family. Thanks for the blog as it lets us all know how things are going for us that are not so close. He has a lot of friends out there and I know they are all thinking of him.
We love Ya Trav

Well, my favorite memories I have most of Trav is the times he has come to my house for dinners and special parties. He always walked in with a big smile and those darling little girls hanging on him.
And DANG, I wish I would have taken a picture of Trav and Karianne the day they came to our house and bought this old motor home we called the Shag Wagon from us. We called it that because the roof of this old motor home had GREEN SHAG CARPET glued over the whole cab of the truck. Trav and Karianne left with the biggest smiles on their faces as they drove out of our driveway. All Karianne cared about was that it had a toilet.
And I know what Lyndee is talking about when she says he makes the best Bloody Mary's. We had a family reunion a couple of years ago in Fort Collins, Co. and Trav was in charge of making Bloody Mary's for us in the mornings. mmmm good. We love you Trav.
I can remember the first time I met Trav, I thought to myself, "Man, he is cute and has gorgeous eyes". And that smile would make you feel so good inside, like you were the only one in the room he was smiling at. When I was searching for a babysitter I found one in the neighborhood that I was not too sure about, She seemed really nice but just a little wacky, anyways turned out she new Trav and had babysat the girls for many years, I called and talked to Trav and Karianne about her and Trav made me feel so much better about taking my kids to her. He reassured me that everything would be ok, and the babysitter really loved Trav and the girls. Everyday she had to tell me stories of Trav, I still think to this day she was in love with him...she treated my kids so good because she loved Trav and the girls so much, like family. I would also have to say that the last time I saw Trav was at Easter, when we were doing a prayer circle for him, I got to hold his hand, he squeezed my hand so tight, It was like he was feelng all our love for him, I squeezed his hand just as tight back. That moment meant so much to me, I can still feel that hand squeeze to this day. Trav has the sweetest soul...we love him so much.
I don't know where we were all at (it could have been Viva Naughten) but, I remember you and Travis spent pretty much the whole day talking to each other while we were at the beach and Grandma leaned over to me and said "You can tell they really love each other"...
In high school there was a group of us that hung out every weekend together: Travis, Shane, Mike, Zac, Eric,Brett, Justin,Tricia, Jenny etc.. We were either in Hardees parking lot or where ever there was a get together. Well Trav found out that my parents were leaving out of town and told the group we could have a party at my house. Well Travis and the group came to my house before I got home from work and started to drink beer and play cards. As silly teenagers do. Well needless to say I got home from work and started playing cards with them not realizing that my parents luggage was still in the front room. Yep! sure enough (Uncle Scott the Ogden Police officer was my dad). My parents came home and Travis and the group proceeded to run frantic threw the house and opened the sliding glass door to escape not realizing that the screendoor was closed. Well Trav ran right threw the screen door and the others followed. It was hilarious, not at the time but as we look back on it. And all Uncle Scott said was tell Trav and the crew thanks for my new supply of Coors light and that they owe me a new screen door. And of course I was grounded.... I dont think there were many days or weekends in highscool that me and Trav were apart. We always looked after one another and have been very close.
Travis I hope you know how much I love you and that I truly treasure our friendship.
Love Alway's your favorite "Cuz"

There are so many memories our family has had with Travis, Keith & Linda, its hard to pick just one to write about. Our family's were so close especially during the high school rodeo years. Soon as the kids would get done with their events they would hurry back to our horse trailer to play bum-darts for quarters or they would hold roping jackpots with our roping dummy. Our kids refered to Keith and Linda as uncle and aunt and we became Uncle Scott and Aunt Debbie to Travis. (even tho we were all cousins). Travis and Shannon had many planned and unplanned parties at our house. Especially the screen door party. The fun camping trips will always be special to our family and watching Sydney and Ashton grow up.
Travis,Karianne, Linda, Keith, Ashton & Sydney - please know how much you mean to us and how much we love you.
Travis we love you

When I met Travis he was 18 years old and we were both working at a "wonderful place called Fresenius" but one of the most memorable moments with Travis would have to be the time we went 4-wheeling up left hand pass at hardware ranch and Travis was in front of me and came upon a huge puddle of water and right when he got to the middle of it I gunned it and blasted through the puddle of water drenching him when he caught up to me we stopped and laughed then talked about what a great ride we had that day. You & your family are in our thoughts and prayers. love David & Nicole
Travis,
I don't think I ever saw Travis show up anywhere without a nice pair of sunglasses on his head. ( and that includes several church events). He seldom put them on, but they were always up there anyway. I remember commenting one time how much I liked a certain pair you had. Well a couple of weeks go by and we all got together again (I still cant believe it was 2 weeks between family get-to-gethers). You showed up and gave me a pair of those sunglasses I so liked.
What a great man you are ! So many lessons can be learned from you. Your smile that never leaves your face, your wonderful attitude and your quiet kindness are all traits everyone could have more of.
We love you Travis !
Stew & Dawn
Hey, Travis, we think of you often. We miss seeing you around and wish you were feeling better. We hope you are not in pain. My family is praying for you and sending their best also. We'd like to come and see you. Lots of Love, Duane, Sherri, & Kahla
Travis,
Very rarely do you meet someone that truely is a geniunely nice person. I can't tell you how great it has been seeing you with your family and friends. You have always carried yourself in a postive manner and I can't even think of a single time where you did not have a smile on your face. I truely mean this when I say that if I could be half the Father you are to your kids that I could call myself a great dad. Please know that the memories I have of you will always be with me. Your family and friends will always be inspired by your strength. You are a great man.
Respectfully Your Friend,
Oscar
It's hard to pick just one since Trav & I have been friends for a long time but one I really want to mention is when "Chris Hoskins" would sing the song "Roxanne" to Trav on Friday's when he was single. Except she would insert his name where Roxanne should have been. So Chris would sing "Traaaavis, you don't have to turn on your red light, cuz I'm comin over tonight!" And then when he started dating Karianne, she inserted Kar's name where she use to say "I'm." So the song then went "Traaaavis, you don't have to turn on your red light, cuz Karianne's comin over tonight". The funny thing was that Trav was so shy and he knew she was going to sing that when he walked down the line (at work) and he had several different ways to access anywhere in the area... but he would always walk past Chris on her singing days.... several times a day! He would turn red and chuckle as he walked past and act like he was embarrassed but I really think he enjoyed her version of "Roxanne."
Me and Travis were good friends in high school since me and Shannon were best friends. I remember going to rodeos with the Conley's and the Beus's and how much fun we would have. I went to Roy and all of my friends went to Weber and I remember wishing so much that I went to Weber with all of my friends. I also worked at IRS with his mom Linda until she retired. She always kept me up to date on what was going on with Travis.
One thing I remember is how on Halloween one year we were driving around in Travis's truck tormenting all of the little kids. Someone came up with this great idea to start ropping little kids Halloween bags of candy. Travis and all of the guys jumped in the back of his truck as me and Shannon drove. I must say they did a great job at ropping since by the time the night was over we had more candy than we knew what to do with. It was all in great fun.
Trav I will always remember you and the great times we had. Hang in there.
Love Always

Karianne you don't know me but I lived across the street from Keith & Linda when Travis was in High School I am actually Jenny's sister. I was married and we had a little house across the street from them. As you've read from all their blogs they liked to have fun and spent lots of hours at our house. Travis would always say I don't have far to roll if I can't make it across the street.(after a long night) The funniest story I remember is not when we lived in that house but another one in west weber. The gang was all at our house and had a little to much to drink. My husband then, Travis and Mike had actually passed out on the front lawn and I had 6 little puppies as they would get sick and roll over the dogs would come behind and clean them up. That might not be a pleasant story but it sure was funny to watch.Travis you and your mom and dad mean the world to me they were so good to me when I went through my divorce. I know how strong Linda and Keith are and I know you follow in their footsteps. And from the sounds of your wife she is amazing and your so lucky to have each other. Life is not always fair but in the end it is always gods decision and he must have great plans for you. Your family is in our prayers, stay strong.Love Shelly (Freeland) Winn and boys.

Me and Trav met at the "dumps", (aka..Fresenius). That is where he would tell his little girls that he worked. One thing that I will always remember about Trav is his lists. He would make a list for every little thing he had to do for the day. He would check off the items as he completed them and just keep adding more to the list. Well, as a new bachleor he was getting ideas from all his co-workers for easy dinners to make for him and the girls (a whole new list.) I told him to make tacos because that was an easy meal. He looked at me confused and told me that he just wanted to buy his groceries at Smith's and that he didn't even know where a mexican store was! We all had to explain to the "Rookie" cook that there was a mexican aisle at Smith's! Find the salsa and you will find the taco mix! He came back to work the next day and bragged about the great tacos he made the night before. I could post on and on. I just want to say thanks for making the "dumps" a fun place to work. And not to mention it was there that I found the perfect man for my Aunt Karianne and the perfect women for my Uncle Trav! I love you guys. You are the true story of Living and Loving Right. You have both been so strong through this and I will admire your lives through the good and hard times. Again, I Love you both so much, Val
I took these stories to Trav today and read them, had to have the box of kleenex nearby. I told him, "You really were the life of the party!" He said, "I don't remember a lot of those stories, must of drank a lot of beer." :) Keep them coming, everyone.
I'd like to tell one story. Since we both had kids, many of our dates included them. But one day, don't know why, we didn't have the girls, it was Trav, Deej, and I, and Travis took us miniature golfing in Farr West. On the way back, we got on the freeway in his black Montero. DJ had a favorite Tazmanian Devil hat that he loved, wouldn't go anywhere without it on. Well, being the 6 year old little boy that he was, he rolled down the window and stuck his head out and off it went. Oh man, he cried, and was turning around trying to see where it landed. Travis looked over at me and said, "If I turn around and find that hat, he's gonna think I'm a hero, isn't he?" I said, "Oh, ya." So, that's what he did. He turned the car around and found it. When he brought it to the Montero it was all dirty, and flat. But DJ had the biggest smile. Trav has been his hero ever since.
Of course my first memory of Travis was the Viva trip, and I remember thinking "is this guy really this nice?" Like Angie said he was so concerned about Emma and his girls. (Of course I understood due to the fact that anyone of the 10million mosquitos in our camp could be carrying some type of Ebola virus). After getting to know him a little bit I started to realize that he really was that nice and didnt want to talk about himself much. He always asks about my work and kids etc. If I would ask about his new job on base or something he would answer the question then turn the conversation right back to me. When we were at the Matchbox 20 concert watching our wives drool and scream over other men, we both sat there realizing we were in a little bit of trouble. What an amazing husband, father and son. Alot of people say they put their family first, but Travis never needs to say it because it is so obvious through his actions.
Steven
Karianne, I have never had the privilege of meeting you but I am so thankful you have created this blog and that Trav. has had such an amazing person to love. I am an "old friend" of Travis' from High School and memories of time spent with Travis are dear to my heart. There are a lot of great memories of Travis and his family, especially during our high school rodeo days. There were good times had by all when cousin Shannon and Trav. got us all together. I wouldn't trade those times for anything! Those beautiful eyes and easy smile of his are hard to forget. Love to you, your beautiful kids, and Keith and Linda. I think the world of the Beaus family and you are all in my prayers. Travis...love you, thanks for the memories!
Love always,
Misti Smith Kosoff
One of the moments that I will never forget was... we were up at Shannon's dads property up by Causey and Trav had a (not so nice) Escort. We were all around the fire pit, having or rather pounding beers and someone (Russ I think) put in a CD of Adam Sandler (cranked up, of course).... Trav hopped up on the picnic table and started singing "Piece of shit car"....I have never laughed so hard!!! Everytime I hear that song or someone use that phrase it takes me back and puts a big smile on my face.
Another fun memory was hunting with Shannon & Jayson...(Trav & I were both newly divorced) We hiked all over that day, no success. We were sharing the back bed in Shan's trailer. During the night (very cold night) the furnace went out ... I dont remember which one said it but we decided body heat was the only way to get warm....then we laughed about it being against the law to sleep with your cousin!! Those were some fun times! Know that you are always in my thoughts.
Love, Bridgett Mills
Another funny camping trip at North Fork. Trav and my brother Russell were sitting around the camp fire singing to Adam Sandler, Fleet Wood Mac, and Johnny Horton's North to Alaska. They had both had a few beers in them. Well Russ broke out his Party shoes: They were old red and tan bowling shoes with glow in the dark green shoe laces. Trav was laughing outloud saying he needed to get him a pair of those party shoes. Well Russ also broke out this awful looking furry hat that was a fist flipping the bird. It was his party hat. Well Trav had to wear that hat. I remember him and Russ singing and dancing around the fire with that dumb hat and golf shoes on. That night they were also poking fun at my husband Jayson's hair because of his permed mullett that was in style at the time...haha They use to call Jayson "Big Perm". Well Trav found one of Ashtyn's barbies by the camp fire thats hair was all messed up and he started rubing the barbies hair trying to tame it and while trying to tame it's hair he kept talking to the barbie saying "Easy Big Perm,Easy Big Perm".....poking fun, Jayson just laughed hysterically. We have it all on video. I will show all our kids some day.
-A Ugly Furry Finger Hat, Glow in the dark bowling shoes,a barbie with wild hair and good friends around a camp fire singing to Fleet Wood Mac. I call it "PRICELESS"
Trav, just another fun memory I thought you would remember and laugh about...
LOVE YOU SO MUCH !!!
Shannon
Travis -
A blast from the past... I just wanted to let you know that Cory and I are thinking of you and are wishing you the best. I'm sure he has more crazy memories than I do about the two of you and some of your wild experiences. It's been many, many years since you and I have spoken but I always wonder how your are and ask you mom about you each time I see her. We both wish you happy moments with your family, strength for whatever comes and peace.

I have known Travis for 15 Years, There are people who I have known my whole life, people I would concider Best Freinds.
To say you know Travis means that you know him and think of him the same way I do. Because as you know if Travis ever had a bad day or just didn't want to be bothered by anyone or anything, you would never know it by the way he treats you, Travis has a selfless regard for others no matter what he's feeling at the time.
Trav and I allways hung out and had some deep conversations, talked about alot of life's situations, and I can honistly say that I don't think I ever herd him raise his voice or make derigitory remarks about anyone. I've always respected him for that and for the way he is with his Wife, Kids, Parents, and freinds. Because of all that, either knowingly or unknowingly Travis has made me a better person, Father & Husband..
It's not how long you have known someone, or how often they have been there for you,,, But more "WHEN" they have been there for you and how they have affected your life..... That to me is a "BEST FREIND"...
It was good to see you yesterday "DRUNKIN MILLER", Thanks,,,,Talk to you soon..
Jayson
As a new friend of Trav's I'm sad to say that I've never tried one of his infamous "bloody mary"s!
I have many memories of Trav...all good, but mostly all second hand from Karianne.
I do have a few first hand memories of Trav, the most recent was our trip to Pocatello to watch the DNCFR. My husband complains that I'm a terrible traveling partner b/c I always fall asleep, but with Trav and Karianne in the car, the 2 1/2 hour drive went by so fast with talking and laughing! We had such a great time....even that little college hole-in-the-wall place we ate dinner at!!
Karianne, Trav, we love you and are thinking of you!
Hello, I worked with Karianne and I was "the spare" on the "two pair and a spare" bowling team formed by my co-workers for the 309 MXW event.
Of course...I was the obvious choice for the team since my hunny works in SLC and seldom is on base and the two couples needed a 5th person. No problem...I was excited. (Just give me an excuse to use Annual Leave)
This was the first time I met Travis...he was so attentive, so thoughtful, so sweet to Karianne and she was never out of his eye-sight...I remember thinking...this is so cute, I wonder if my husband loves me as much as he loves his wife?? It must have been a brief "third wheel" kind of moment because I too am assured daily how much my husband loves me but my brief encounter with Travis made me know how much he loves his wife!
I always threated to get even one day to the four little love-birds on my team and invite them bowling with me and my husband so we could perform some sort of little strip tease or something on the bowling lane and kiss (like their behavior)...Ha~
You are in our prayers! Carol
Travis it was so good to see you last week. I know that I speak for my parents as well as my brothers and sisters in saying that we love you so much. You hold a special place in all of our hearts.
Even though you disagreed we all know that you were and still are Grandpa Beus's favorite. I don't have as many memories of you as my older brothers and sisters but I do remember all of us being at Grandpa and Grandma's house for every Christmas and Sunday afternoon get togethers.
Travis you are one of the strongest people that I know. I love you and your parents so much. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!
Love always,
Brooke
Trav,
You are probably the only person and reason that I would come on here and post. I am so glad to have you part of the family. You were always the person I enjoyed sitting on the couch with watching some sporting event at Bob and Chenas'. I know deep down you always rooted for the cowboys with me. I will never hear the end of the infamous bloody marys you made for my wife and nothing will ever compare to it. I will never forget how good of a husband, father and all around good guy that you are.
Love you man,
Jeff
My little brother. There are so many memories I have. From the day they brought you home till now.
But I pick the funniest one I could think of.
Travis and one of his friends came over to see us. We just got a new dog. A big old Malamute. Wendell said come see our new dog. Well when Wendell opened the door Ben came running. Travis went running for the front door. I said "Travis where you going." He said "You have a horse in your back yard."
He would never come in the house if Ben was there.
I love you little brother.
T
I know it's a little late but I finally got an opportunity and wanted to honor my uncle. I will always remember before the girls of course, when I was Trav's girl. When I was about 4 years old or so Trav was my boyfriend and I made sure everyone knew. He finally brought home a girl named becky and I looked at her and said he is my boyfriend not yours. She didnt like that so much and seemed a little jealous. He also gave me my nickname BEAN which to this day I am still called by. We used to be in the back yard in warren and He would look at me and say Bean RUN!! I would run the other direction as fast as I could and travis would rope my feet and drag me in lol. I will Never forget my memories of him from when I was little there are many more but to many to talk about. I love you travis!
