I usually don't have time for tags, but I thought this one might be fun.
Here are the rules:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable. If you don't have a blog and don't know how to sign in, please comment as anonymous.
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!
3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include him!
4. If you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all ☺Okay, let's see what you've got!

The first memory of you is me trying to figure out how the crap you could be Angie's aunt when you looked the same age! Then I remember you bringing DJ in for his ortho appointments. You were always so nice to me and really fun to talk to. I love your laugh! I guess you, Lyn and Ang all have what must be the Carpio laugh. Very unique, and very contagious. You always had your nails done, and I was jealous! If I would have had mine done, I would have lacerated DJ's gums while changing those elastics. Then you would have been mad, and I wouldn't be posting a comment on your blog!! Yikes. Oh- and it was so easy to be nice to DJ- what a cute kid! And that hair....
Your memory is nearly lost, mine is well intact, therefore you also get THE LIST...
Me wondering if I'd have hair left after you completed french braiding, Leif Garrett, John Cougar, just hangin' out in Gram's basement, saying Grum more when I realized it was irritating you, riding around in your new Tercel especially to boys at Ben Lomond baseball games, going to mass every Sunday with and without Gram/ps, Soul II Soul, Lake Powell, Hawaii, trips to Gill and D-land, baptizing DJ, myself being the worst Godmother for which you have graciously forgiven me even though I never will, writing you in the Azores, you making a big deal about Emma as a baby, lovingly taking care of Tug while we're away, you being a really good mom & wife, you loving Trav and the kids, you understanding me when I'm frustrated at something, us always realizing that we married great guys, discussing stupid weight gain & loss and solutions, you laughing at EVERYTHING, having a son with the best shag ever, you taking care of Gram from scheduling to financial overseer, bunko, appreciating your silent spirituality, not having to talk all the time but knowing we have an unspoken bond, being grateful for the previous, wishing I could take your hurt away, praying for you constantly, my faithful RB, having a blast in Reno, loving Rob and Kyle, being able to count on your honesty and straighforwardness, everyone always telling me how pretty you are, your example of mental strength and independence, your support for homeless animals, you wanting to make a difference with all things esoph cancer related, your lessons in patience :), laughing, laughing, and more laughing.
Alot of little things that add up to one fun lifetime of memories Kari. Its good to know that our Matchbox escapades are not even close to being over. I love ya girl!
Oh great, Why do I have to reply after Ang? Just know in advance it will not be as good as hers.
Well, there are many things I remember first off annoying you when we were little spending the night at Gram's house. I do remember too you to us to Rainbosno (sp?) in front of Ben Franklins I think it was Smith's then. I felt so proud that you bought me a snow cone. I too also remember when you moved to Portugal. I remember you saying you only had four cups and four plates. Why I remember these mundane things I have no idea. LOL You are a great Aunt and I too can't wait for more MB20 concerts.
I don't know why I remember this but one time you were driving us all home from school and 31st street was practically flooding and I thought we were going to die because we were all in that little green honda. HAHAHA.
My favorite memory of you is when I was little and would stay at Grandma's house and get my hair french braided. You had some great skills, you would put those braids in so tight our eyes would go cross-eyed. But how lovely I would look when you were done. I never wanted to take my hair out. I also remember you letting my hold DJ when he was first born and I got to hold him for hours. I rocked him on the chair and was so happy that you let me hold him for so long. Your a great anut, love ya tons.
